How to be a confident, compentent and comfortable speaker
Would you say you are a confident, competent AND comfortable speaker? Many training professionals aspire to have all three. Often times, we have a combination, but not all three. In times of increasing electronic communication and social networking, opportunities for in person communication have decreased. As true as this is, it becomes even more important for training professionals to maintain and develop their in person communication skills. There is nothing more important for professional development than being a proficient speaker. In this session, you will learn how to write and deliver a presentation that will engage your audience, and effectively transfer the content so that you achieve your intended results.

Bob Prentiss received his bachelors degree from U.C. Berkeley and his law degree from the University of San Francisco. After moving to Tallahassee in 1993 and procuring a position with the Department of Insurance, Bob continued his education at FSU, receiving a Masters of Instructional Design. Since 1995, Bob has been actively involved in Toastmasters International, and has achieved the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest designation awarded by Toastmasters International.
The father of two grown children, Jeremey and Beth, Bob is also on the Board of Directors for Ability 1st, North Florida’s Center for Independent Living.
